paintball in the olympics?

Yeah i think i read somewhere that Paintball is played in like 60+ countries, and that a sport has to be played in a certin number of countries to be considered for the Olympics. It would be awsome to see paintball in the X-games tho. Lol winter x-games, playin, slidein in the snow for the flag, lol, just a thought

usually don't work that way...X games are solo perfomances with just sick tricks.

Olympics is competition with teams and representing a team plus a country backing it.
Paintball has a better shot at olympics than Xgames. i'd rather see it there too, also....i think like most sports it should be one season, not both, preferably summer.

well i would like to send the olympic comitte an e-mail stateing my intrest for the introduction of paintball into the olympic games.
if any one knows how to contact the comitte please post it, and i think that if the people in this fourm also send and constantly send e-mails they can't ingore us forever.

its the rest of the world they have to think about too. not just us. it would be cool if we were the ones that got paintball in the olimpic though. Thatd deffenitly help the site grow.

the world'sintrest is shown not through e-mails or letters but through patisaption.
what the olympic comitte needs is some one to re-intreduce it for concidertion. probly the best way to do that is to get as many possable active paintball countries to send the comitte e-mails and letters.
if i weren't in school i would take up this mission.

paintball is as close to the ultmite sport as you can get. the reason is that it combines amny sports and games into one. there's sprinting, jumping, dodging, flag hand offs, sliding, elimtions, points, teams, balls (paintballs), shooting, accurcy, and tactics. when you think about it incorperates, elements from every summer sport known to man excluding water soprts, and contact sports like football or boxing. although weight lifting is a good sport to have in paintball.
as a last thought a paintball player needs to be an all around good ahtlet who is able to think on the go wiht out it effecting the flow of his\her game.

yeah, if you look at the X games they pick certain people and let them compete. How would they choose what teams will play. And will they have an AM, PRO, XBALL games. This is very hard to cordinate with if you think about it. Pro and Xball teams arnt just everywhere. Plus paintball right now is having powerhouses. So they would want to invite Dynast when they knew that the stoned ass. are going to be there. The only probabal way i see this happeneing is that a new set of teams come and ONLY play the Xball events, or you match up players. Or im so confused right now!!!
