Exclamation PBjunkie MOVE

Just incase you missed the message on the portal:

On July 15th, PBjunkie.com will be moving to a new home to support additional functionality specifically the new CHAT server and future expansion. During this move, the community will also be upgraded. This move will start tomorrow at approximately 9 AM and be complete around lunch time. This will also involve moving DNS servers, which means you might not be able to see us for up to 12 hours. Please bear with us because it’s going to be worth it!

This new home will be permanent and as the community grows they will be able to support it.

Thumbs down

The reason I had to move was basically my current provider would not support the chat package I wanted to have. Most chat packages out there are just a plain dull java chat window and obviously that wasn't going to fly here.

Realchat is completely customizable and provides a lot of functionality. Check out one of the pics: http://www.realchat.com/img/shot2.gif

Wow, now that looks impressive. Haven't seen something like that on any paintball sites, if really any other sites at all. Throw the color scheme of the site on there and it will blend in real nice!

Thanks guys! Only the best for this place.

Here's some features:

Totally customizable appearance: Seamless integration with your web site. You have total control over the user interface elements, the look and feel, company logo, avatars, icons, sounds, and more.

Small, fast, cross-platform: The RealChat Client applet is very thin, loads fast, and runs on most platforms including Windows 95/98/NT/XP, Mac OS X, and UNIX/Linux.

Visual themes support, skinnable interface: RealChat comes with a set of built-in skins. There are also more available for download - free! You can even create customized skins to perfectly match your web site.

Compelling end-user experience: RealChat Client applet has one of the easiest and most intuitive user interfaces ever created. Its unique set of features include rich text, image emoticons, sound effects, clickable links, user selected fonts, text and nickname colors, avatar icons, and more.

Freedom and flexibility: Private messaging, user created rooms, password-protected private rooms, ignore functions, selectable avatar icons, and profile and settings panels are among the features that your visitors demand… and RealChat provides them all.

Integration with a user profiles database: Site administrators can easily integrate RealChat with any membership database so users can chat with their existing screen names and profiles. No need to recreate everything you already have in place.

Banner ads integration: RealChat can be integrated with any ad-serving program. The chat client is simply embedded in a frame while banner ads and other elements can be displayed in a separate frame.

Internationalization: Effortlessly use RealChat with a variety of different languages. Language packs available for download free-of-charge.

Good point. I put it in the articles section along with the auction features. It then shows up on the portal. :stup
