Should there be a chat option at PBjunkie.com? I need your input. Some like, some don't.

An open chat room would be a nice option. Also, we could get together and have announced discussions. Something like "8 p.m. Tuesday night will be an auto****er technical discussion being hosted by DeepFreeze." I am not putting out that topic, except as an example.

Also, is there any way to get the auto profanity deletion to stop catching auto****er?

I think it would be cool to have a chatroom. Deepfreeze has a good idea too. Posting on the forums should be ok if there is only one chatroom. If it does drop off, we can always close the chat room, or limit it to announced discussions.

I agree, I think it can be used as a meeting place and for official topics/ discussions. I don't think it will have that much of an impact on the forums. It may temporally decrease forum use in a particular topic area (Autococker thread quiets down while Deep is hosting a chat) but I think overall it would be a benefit.

A chatroom would be nice for days like today when nobody comes to the store and I have nobody to talk to. :(
