When is this going to pick up? No one has posted a damn thing in either of my forums. We need more people, what can we do?

Give it time first off. And post up stuff that other sites don't offer. I plan on doing a complete technical breakdown, upgrade tips and everything once I get home. And once the auctions are set up, that is bound to attract a lot of people. Open advertising on other forums isn't the greatest idea, but a subtle link in your sig would be fine.

warpedx is right. This site just went live last weekend. My advertising is just starting and I just hired a company yesterday to get this site in the top 10 search results on all search engines (which wasn't cheap). Next in order to get there it takes at least 3 weeks for the adjustment of code, etc and the search engines to crawl and pick it up and then optimize their search engines.

I have an ad taken out on Fark, which has not started yet most likely because the admin is on 4th of July vacation and I have been promoting the site privately by sending out emails and PM's on other sites.

This site is damn near the best organized, best looking, best designed site on the Internet when it comes to our sport. Do not mean to sound conceited but I spent the money to ensure I would be able to say that.

I've got a great core group of knowledgeable moderators (which was no party getting them) and we just have to be patient to reap the rewards. Now, everyone can help out by letting the people you know on the other sites that we exist (of course do it privately) and hopefully they will let their friends know. Shoot, I didn’t even know half of you when you got a PM or email from me so why not shoot out a couple of PM/emails to a few strangers everyday?

We should see results shortly just give it a chance.

Yeah, I remember when pbnation first came aboard, I was the PMI Moderator for a short time. It literally took that site almost a year to get heavy traffic. However, they were also competing with at the time considered the best paintball forums on the net (pbcity).

i am here to tell you that this is the best forum i have ever came in touch with. it has the best grapichs, a lot more post options, i mean you name it.
ya'll just keep up the hard work and it will come in no time. it wont take a year because i will do my part.

this is the first weekand we should be happy with the traffic we've had so far, it'll take a while to get regular and abundant people
