So those riffled ceramic barrels really don't do anything at all?

did not say that, lighter and better porting does make same diffifence but not in distance. noise level and on some barrels accuracy. but one again you get what you pay for. i got a chance to try a stiffi on my longbow. it whispered and was very accurate

Nope, unless you want to put a cool spin on your ball...buy an ultralite...try different things, ask friends or people if you can borrow it for a game, most people don't usually mind, go shoot it in the chrono or something, it is personal preference, but rifling in a paintball barrel doesn't do much

I guess getting rid of noise is the most important thing. Thanks for the input!

Yeah Ultralights are probably one of the best barrels next to Stiff!s for cutting the noise down. We put a 16 inch Ultralight on a DM4 and it just sounded like little farts, sounds stupid but I'm serious.

The other thing is a good paint to barrel match. I hate dealing with matching paint and the occaisional ball in a bag that is too big and causes a barrel break so I use big bore barrels considering that I don't shoot from long distances I'm usually up close and personal heh (not too close though)

Yeah, I've never thought about that. I guess getting a barrel kit with different sizes would be the way to go.
Well, if it's ever me your sneaking up on, i don't think so, lol. Never mind that!
