ccm feed on a vert feed body?
I might be interested in building another sniper2. BUT i need to know what body to get. a stock black one will do just fine but what i want to do is get a CCM no-rise feedneck for it. this is where my question comes in to play.
do the stock wgp vert feed bodies (early 2ks) have threaded feednecks? if not where would i go abotu getting one without spending 200 on a vert feed body from Fireball Mountain? (they are pretty though) OR could i get a standard vert feed body (without threaded feedneck) and get the feed chopped off, and threaded? if so approximatley how much would i be lookin at just to do that?

I have been thinking of doing something similar. My question would be, what is the significance of the verticle feed on a sniper gun. It seems that a R feed would be better suited for the sniper configuration. A 2000-2002 will most likely be a right hand feed, but able to interchange parts with the newer cockers. a pre 2000 cocker will not interchange (all parts). With the R hand feed cocker you can get a straight down the barrel view and believe it or not a red-dot sight does work within a 100 ft +-. My cocker has a low presure valve and a R hand feed body. I use a Revolution hopper and it feeds fine one shot or 20 quick ones. |
