Installing a Pump Kit
ok , i have the sniper 2 kit, i have already got it on and it leaks where the banjo bolt would be. the kit did not come with an o-ring, but leaks by itself. teflon tape, the origanal oring from the b bolt, and a tank o-ring will not work. anyone care to share how to get it on without leaking. and i am pretty sure the backblock should not hit the body(i know thats bad on other types, just not sure about the pump kit), and if its not, how do i fix this?
thanks for any help.

You certainly need the o-ring on the pump kit to prevent it from leaking. I would try a bit of blue loctite on the threads in addition to the o-ring. That should take care of your leak. As for the back block, it will normall rest against the body. If you want to prevent this you can put a bumper in on the pump rod in between the back block and the body. The one that is provided for the cocking rod works well, although it can be a bear to get on.

which o-ring do i use, the banjo o-ring doesn't seal right, and i think anything else would blow.

Any generic o-ring that fits tightly over the threads and under the flang will work as long as it is not too thick (no thicker than what you use on an asa fitting). Urethane are the best but nitril and black rubber work too since it does not move after intalling, so no wear. Use very little lock tight since excess can get into your valve and screw it up.
Thin rubber gasket material can be cut to the shape of you block with holes then adhered to block to act as a bumper. Craft stores also have "Craft Foam" sheets that work well too but are not as tough as gasket material but quieter. I use double sided adhesive film to attach to the block you can get this from a trophy shop for next to nothing and comes off easy. I used Elcetrical tape, works fine.
Trivia answer... attempt Spring for the pump?
