New Bolt?

I am thinking of getting a new bolt for my VF Tactical. It has the basic delrin bolt, but was thinking about getting a venturi bolt. Need some ideas of what kind, brand, all that kind of stuff. Don't know tons about cockers, so need some help. Thanks in advance.

Shocktech Superfly... Excellent choice. I use one in my e-blade.

Yeah, you really don't want a venturi bolt, and I'll tell you why:

The little holes in the face of the bolt interrupt the flow of air into the firing chamber. They increase the possible surface area that the air needs to pass, increasing dynamic friction. They decrease the passageway that the air needs to go through, thereby restricting airflow and increasing turbulence.

Venturi bolts were first introduced with the thought of "evening the impact of air on the paintball." All it does is restrict the flow so that you have to set your pressure at a higher rate, which actually increases the impact of air on the paintball.

I would suggest getting an open-face bolt like the Orracle bolt, or like above, the supafly, which is really somewhere b/w a venturi and open-face. Its main selling point is really tight tolerances and quality manufacturing. Either way you go, I would rather see you steer away from anything venturi.
