I have a very old Smart and Friendly Cd-R 8020. I had it on a win98se maching which was very old as well but it worked.
I have moved the CD-R to my WinXP maching. It will play Cd's and record them as well but I can't accesss the data I recorded on the media (CD-R disks). This Cd-R uses a scsi card to access the mother board. If any of you have ideas on why I can't accesss the recorded information from the CD-R??? If I can't use this burner on my WinXP maching please make suggestions on a better CD-RW. I'v alredy look at the Memorex CD-RW's and they have there own problems. Any help from my friends on PBJ would be greatly appreceated.... Thanks! |

could it be hidden, set as read-only(or write-protected)...? or could it be something in a format your new system does not support...
