I'll pick up a 360 when Halo 3 and GHTP come out for it. Hopefully this thing will be fully tested and available by then, it'd be nice to run the graphics at 1080p.

I bet the price of this 360 will be about teh same as the PS3. I'll still be getting one anyone as soon as it comes out.

It didn't say if it comes with an HD-DVD drive. If it does, I can see the price ducking the ps3 tag by $50-100.
If it comes with a regular dirve, I'd guess they'd keep it at $400-450

More I read it the more it sounds like it will just be the upgraded XBOX then you still will have to buy the hard drive and HDDVD drive also.

The whole HD-DVD thing is starting to sound flaky. Unless Microsoft embraces it, it will have a hard time competing against Sony's Blu Ray, especially since Sony conveniently owns a motion picture company as well.

well put. i wouldn't buy an HD DVD player until they are finished fighting over which format wins. since they are only compatible with one. but i think sony may win out.
