Day Of Defeat is another Valve game. Very similiar in gameplay to Team Fortress except it is WWII based. It is a great game. They just recently released the Source version and it is very very nice. Alot better played too. But my comp doesn't support it too well and get too much lag so I stick to the old one.

The msrp for a ps3 is way more than I'd pay for a console, given that after a while, their main job becomes collecting dust. The fact that it can do all the media stuff still isn't enough to sway me over.
I'll probably pick up a used 360 when halo 3 and a newer version of Greg Hasting's comes out.

Or you could do like I do I wait until one of my son's buy one then after a week or so they decide they want something else so they want to sell it. Then I pick it up from them Uber cheap...lol. I know that sounds bad but if I didn't buy it they would sell it to someone else for the same price, atleast this way they still get to play it...lol

I picked up an X-box from my younger son(17) w/the dvd remote 2 controllers & 7 games for $120 it was less than a month old. Then I bought an X-box 360 from my Older son(18) less than 2 weeks after he bought it for $200. It was the premium system, w/ 2 wireless controllers, 2 wired controllers & 5 games.

Nah, They just don't think like that. The oldest needed cash for something on his car,lol. The younger one needed money for a 24 hr. game that he wanted to attend. I guess it just comes down to what is important to them at the moment. Maybe one of these days they will wake up...
