Intel reports construction of numerous defensive bunkers along coastline.
Reconnaissance aircraft have provided pictures of the construction and existing bunkers.
Recommend action to remove landing craft obstacles prior to invasion as well as plans for airdrops behind beach defenses.
Enemy position on Pointe Du Hoc MUST be eliminated prior to landings or casualties will exceed acceptable ratios.
Conclusion. Invasion must take place within the next two months or defenses will be too strong.
