Either they are in collaberation with Dye, or that is a total rip off.

on pbnation, they said this pic was in PGI, or APG in april and was supposedly the aprils fool joke from the magazine.
there would be NO reason for them to make a private label dm5 when the dm6 has been out for 8 months. dm5's are not even being made/sold by dye anymore. so who would buy this? when you can pick up a dm5 for $500-600. and a dm6 for under $1000? if this was a concept marker, its only about 1 year behind. now if it was a DANGEROUS POWER dm6, it would be understandable... |

whats the difference between a DM5/6 they both shoot why to fast anyway lol. i think its just a waste of time coming out with a "new" DM each year when they dont change much except after 2-3 years. they keep coming out with new guns to make them faster and have the most BPS, when they should consentrate on making hoppers that will continue to keep up. i hear Halos and Reloaders cant always keep up with these markers. just my opinion, but i dont play speedball anyway, i just observe and listen.

The DM6 is considerably lighter than the DM5. Lighter guns is the current industry trend, so they have to have their new product to market. Then again, they could pull a SP and leave their gun the same for a few years, and just keep releasing new PL versions.

yeah weight is something people obsess over these days. It is nice to have a really light gun though...
the dm6 actually was a pretty big jump from the dm5. it has a completely new frame, better milling, and a decent amount smaller/lighter. as for the hopper remark, i agree 100 percent. we should have faster, lighter hoppers being made. Halos pretty much rape the industry, so noones really attempted to out do it.(vlocity aside) |
