What I got from our DYE sales rep is that they want to stay one up on Smart Parts. SP as you know just release the Nerve, and Dye doesnt what that to replace there guns as the "new thing to have". So DM5 here we come.

So to my understanding, they're basically releasing what you could get if u got your dm4 custom milled. DYE isnt really gonna spend that much money then, they will be doing a good thing for themselves by generating a lot of hype wihtout spending the extra $$$$ and as bambuski said they will stay on up on sp.

So basicly when the DM5 comes out the dm4 will be disscontinued... Thats sooo sad, so the dm4 will be like a limited eddition, thats kinda good for dm4 owners who in a couple months or something want to sell there dm4 for more money thay wouldnt have really any trobble since it was discontinued, and you know there are gona be people out there who will pay over the original dm4 price to have a used dm4. The way i see it is simple. Discontinueation+DM4= BIG re-sale value.
