Proto matrix, dm5 and orange bolt
I'll get pictures of all the new dye guns friday the 28th at cup and will have them up later firday night. Just a heads up, so let the anticipation begin.

Nice pics, I'm liking the Proto milling, and how they did the eye cover on it.

Yeah, we got to shoot them both. The dm5 had a ramping chip in it, and I'm pretty sure the proto did too. I'd like to set one up and see how fast they can shoot without all the ramping nonsense.

I was able to dry fire the DM5 and Proto Matrix, both feel nice. I have to say, I prefer the Proto over the DM5, except for the looks category. To clarify the difference in boards, the Proto trix has all programming on board, and can not be upgraded with a chip swap, like the DM4/5. So no WAS or Tadao without an entire board swap. The gun is plenty fast though, at least in bypass mode, I was able to keep a steady stream of shots going longer on the Proto. That could easily have been the trigger setup though. I say the Proto is well worth the $995 they are asking, especially in comparison to the DM5's $1385.

And on a side note, the Orange Matrix bolt is incredibly light. It is only availlable for the DM3's and older trix's, but the DM4 and newer bolts are in development.
