Etek????

I am about to have some extra cash. I am looking to buy a new marker. I have been looking at ETEK's. Anyone shot one before or know about them. They look pretty decent. Any input would be great. I'm stuck on getting either an ETEK, PM6, 05 EGO and possibly a invert-mini.

I have a 05 Ego and I absolutely love it. From what i'm told the 06 is just like the 05 but a little bit heavier. The mini is awosme, I highly recomend it, better than anything I have ever seen in its weight class.

Yeah, if you get any kind of Ego, it's going to be extremely loud. Unless you're getting an 07 Ego, they're quieter.

ETEK's are good guns, I, personally, don't like them and would take my 05 Ego over one any day. But I've heard a TON of good reviews about the ETEK.

Invert Mini- I don't know much about, but if you'd like some information, let me know and I'd be glad to get you a full review done by another person on a different forum.

PM6- Good guns, solid guns. Haven't seen a PM6 yet, though, that's an awesome gun that never messes up. Maybe I'm just biased away from them, but I don't usually like Protos, I've never had good experience with them.

The Pulse is like twice as big as the gun. Lol.

What threading is the barrel on those? Cocker threading?

I have respect for Dye guns. They are very well built, but make sure you like the feel of a spool valve.
The mini feels pretty good to shoot, if you're looking to save a bit of cash, this would be a good way to go while still getting a new marker.
Eteks' are newer than the 05's, but there is a lot of aftermarket support for the older egos still.
Definitely try them all out if you can, it's always the best way to choose.
