How many are registered?

Does anyone know how many players have registered? This will be the first game for me with mpp and my team will be coming down for this scenario. Any idea how many players are they expecting?

Thanks for any information you may have.

Hey Yeller - glad you guys are coming to play. Where are you from? What team? As for registered players, I don't know any numbers yet, but I hear that they are expecting around 400.

My team is called the Sons of Liberty. We have 15 members at the moment and I am expecting most of them to be there but we could have a few more coming with us as well. We have members from TN, AL, and GA.

I don't think any of the members have played at Wildfire nor attended an MPP acenario game yet but we plan on making this scenario and the one at Bearclaw later this year.

Since this is our first time there, I have a bunch of questions

How is the camping situation at Wildfire? We will be bringing the tents, are there designated camp sites or is it first come first serve?
What kind of facilities does Wildfire have?
How big is the field?
What kind of structures are on the field?
Are there any stores or anything nearby?

Most of our members have played at 24hourgames in Dalton GA but we want to hit different scenario promoter games and fields this year.

400 players would be awesome!

Thanks for any help and information you guys can give!

Here you go...

Camping - 1st come. There is a pretty large area for campers/tents and such, but there is no power. Its basically a big field.
Facilities - Well, if you call the Port-o-john a facility...
Field Size - Big. Really big. This is one, if not the largest scenario fields I've played on. 400 people can be on the field, and it is possible to cross completely without making contact. There are towns, bunkers, open fields, hardwoods, creeks, swamps, big hills, lowlands, etc.. I love it.
Structures - Wooden 2 and 3 story buildings, shacks, forts, bunkers.
Stores - Well, that depends on how far "nearby" is. And what kind of store. I recommend bringing everything you can think of, so that you don't have to worry. It's kind of easy to get turned around down here, and the locals don't cotton to your kind 'round these here parts. (heh, heh, heh...) Seriously - pack everything you can. This includes food, water, gear, etc... They will sell food (I think), but we usually grill out. We also bring a satellite system to watch tv later at night. Come on by.

Look for the Knights of Honor camp. We shouldn't be too hard to find.

Welcom. You will like Wildfire. The field is 100 acres, has low lands, big hills, streams, multi-leveled bunkers and numerous bridges. There are gullies, good roads, bambo thickets and dense woods, as well as open fields. It is a wonderful playing field. There are no major stores close, and there are only Port-a-johns as "facilities". But you will enjoy playing the field. Oh, and Eddie and his group have installed lights throughout the playing field for night play. It is really nice.

Man, that sounds nice! I am looking forward to getting there and setting up. Iceman, I will definitely make sure I stop by your camp although I don't know if we will get there Friday night or Saturday morning.

24hourgames in Dalton stops from 6-8 and then sometime during the night until 9am Sunday morning. Does this game go all night or do they have breaks as well?

I have scheduled 3 of the 4 mppgames this year....we wont get to make the SC game. Hopefully, you all will be at those as well.

Guys, I really appreciate the info and the welcome from you all. I am really looking forward to kicking off the 2006 scenario season!

Welcome

This is one of our home fields, a little info Major road from one base to other.
Large stream,Creek threw field, between 4 & 6 feet wide, Yes their are all way a few who go swimming year round, but THE BEAVER IS MINE. At night you might shoot a player or a big buck a lot of deer.
Can not use deer stands during games. has a hyper ball field at one base, Don't Let any body sucker you in to running up the big hill ( better know as heart attack hill or ridge or Eddies Bitch ) at least 4 mission per game.

Ref. staff very good; no Ramping, no over shooting, no night vis. very fast air and nitro fills. No cussing around the ladies( dose not include Peaches if he is wearing Dress.

A really good field, a good tank field, lots of bunker threw woods.

So come on down, and stop by the BLACKHEART CAMP for coffee and a healthy dose of BULLSHIT.
