Ok. trying to help someone crono it it wouldn't shoot under 450. Then shot one that was cronoing right and it was inaccurate, chopped and kicked alot.

What you had there is called an omen that was inproperly set-up. An omen is a gun that should be shot at home and messed with before you take it to the field. I imagine that the owner didn't even look at the manual, the reg probably was not broke in, and he had no idea how to change the velocity or re-cock pressure.

You see...the recock pressure is directly tied in with the cam feed, so if he was shooting 450, obviously the cam feed will just smash balls like no tomorrow. It would also smash balls if the recock is too high and it is at a normal velocity. If it wouldn't have been shooting so hot, along with the recock being set right, there would have been a lot less kick. The reg needs to be broke in, because pressure spikes affect the cam feed which will break balls. Other than the reg, there is another way to adjust the velocity if you're shooting that hot, but I'm assuming the owner didn't read the manual, so he wouldn't know. High velocity also tends to make it inaccurate. The stock barrel is actually very good.

The omen is good gun if you can read the manual. If you can't read, don't buy it. You'll be doing everyone a favor.

Evil is releasing a ton of upgrades, even a flush cocking one that will lower kick because the back block will no longer move.

I understand, I was just putting out there that most problems with omen's come from the user, and not the marker itself.

Very informative thanks, I hear that the Omen is a totally new animal and I guess it just needs time to propagate through the paintball world. Again thanks.
