Cold Fusion's Story Line
Extreme Outdoors Paintball - April 8th

Mission #1 – Earn Your Destiny
Story Line: Earn Your Destiny well determine if your team is going to play the roll of Red Cell or Section One. What ever color power rod your team obtains and possesses at their base at missions end will determine the role they play. If your team secures both of them at your base then they get to choose the team they want to play as, Red Cell or Section One.

Mission #2 – Hunt for Professor Yomaguchi
Story Line: Professor Yomaguchi, the inventor of cold fusion, fearing for his life and the reign of terror the Dragon’s Breath will bring upon the world if they get their hands on his invention, is trying to flea China. In exchange for his invention the Professor is asking for asylum within the U.S. and their promise the technology will be shared with the rest of the world. Fearing war with China if the U.S. sends an army to retrieve the Professor they have elected to send in their covert special operations team known as Red Cell.

The world’s corporate leaders comprised of very influential U.S. business moguls learn of the situation and fear Red Cell may fall short of completing the task. Enlisting the aid of the elite organization known as Section One the world’s corporate leaders hope to share the technology and benefit from the profits cold fusion has to offer. While Red Cell and Section One has the same agenda their loyalties lay in different areas. This conflict pits them head to head while trying to overcome the challenges the Dragon’s Breath presents and the struggle to complete their missions.

Mission #3 – Find Informant and get Location of Classified Documents
Mission #4 – Retrieve Classified Documents
Mission #5 – Retrieve Power Rods
Story Line: With Professor Yomaguchi safely in the custody of the U.S. he reveals that he has hidden the documents and blue prints of the cold fusion reactor with an informant still in China. He has also hidden the reactor’s power rods across the region. As fast as intel retrieves the information from the Professor they radio it to the two team. Red Cell and Section One spring into action to find the informant retrieve the documents and power rods. Still with conflicting loyalties and the ever present threat of Dragon’s Breath they must use caution and extreme prejudice against anyone that stands in there way.

Mission #6 – Seize Control of Dragon’s Breaths HQ
Mission #7 – Covert Mission to be announced by Generals
Story Line: Recently informed of the U.S. activities in their country and worried about the growing strength of the rogue unit, Dragon’s Breath, the Chinese Government sees the U.S. involvement as an opportunity. The Chinese Government has informed the U.S. that they will not get involved in the U.S.’s mission as long as they take care of the thorn in their side, Dragon’s Breath. Red Cell and Section One has been informed to take over the Dragon’s Breath HQ. Both organizations see the base as a perfect location of future operations in the region. As well as eliminating the Dragon’s Breath both organization sees an opportunity to inflict a crippling blow to their counter part’s organization.

Mission #8 – Load and Go
Story Line: After the fight for Dragon’s Breath HQ they have disbanded. Beware, there are small groups still present and hiding just waiting for the opportunity to exact some revenge. Both Red Cell and Section One has gotten word it is time to take their remanding power rods and bug out, abandoning the former Dragon’s Breath base. Leaving behind the housing of the cold fusion reactor for future use, the power rods need to be extracted to a location that they can be energized. It is imperative that these rods make it to the extraction LZ. Use caution we need the power rods to make the reactor work.

Mission #9 – Assemble the Reactor
Story Line: Red Cell and Section One has deployed back into China near the location of the cold fusion reactor housing. The power rods have been air drop near their location. They have to retrieve the power rods associated with their team and place them in the reactor housing. Once all the power rods from one team is aligned in the reactor housing that team is given control of the Village


Mission #10 – Powering the World
Mission #11 – Covert Mission to be announced by Generals
Story Line: With one team successfully powering up the reactor and taking control of the Village it’s only a matter of time before the reactor reaches its full potential. Once the reactor is fully powered up then that organization can claim rights to the discovery and reap the rewards. Until then the opposing team sees it as their last chance to take control of the energy source that is going to power the world known as Cold Fusion. Who will come out the victory Red Cell or Section One?

Mission #12 – What If! – Powering the World
Mission #13 – What If! – Covert Mission to be announced by Generals
Story Line: Have you ever played a scenario game and wonder “what if” we would had been the ones in control of the village or something similar? Well this is your chance to find out. We are taking both teams and reverse their roles that we played in the last mission so don’t wonder anymore. This time you are going to find out.

If time permits we might get in another quick game of last team standing to finish up the night. No points for this game.

The covert missions and some information are left out of the story line to give a little suspense and a twist to the plot.
