FOOD for the weekend!!!
Just talked to our caterer and here are the options…

Friday night: right now, our food folks (seriously talented chef) don’t plan on coming out. If we have enough of a response, he can come out for a few hours. Let me know…

Saturday lunch: Barbeque… Just had a BBQ sandwich about 30 minutes ago, and it was quite possibly the best BBQ that I have ever eaten. It’s not my place to give prices, but he is VERY reasonable. You can get a basic sandwich or a plate with other goodies and a drink for another dollar or so.

Saturday night: Poll time! Let me know which sounds best to you (especially if you plan on eating it).

Frogmore Stew plate (est $8.50, depending on the price of shrimp next Saturday)

Beef Stew plate with corn bread (est $6.00)

Bowl of Chili with corn bread (est $3.00)


Sunday AM: We will have at least a good mix of “biscuits and gravy” and a few other breakfast items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage…). If there is enough interest, I might be able to talk our chef into bringing his “omelet station”.
