Where to buy KNO3,Saltpeter,potassium nitrate(all same thing)

Im lookin for Saltpeter(potassium nitrate) for my smoke bomb project

, Ive bought it before but that was in texas along time ago and cant find it anywhere anymore .. i know walmart doesent sell it.. of course or CVS pharmacy.. And i cant seem to find a granulated/non liquid stump remover wich is usually mostly potassium nitrate.. any help please?

Thanks, but i was lookin for maybe a local chem shop or some store that may have it. Most chem stores ive seen arent even listed :/

for one of the most common ingredients found in IED's and pipe bombs. You will probably have to regester (somehow) before you can purchase the stuff, and after the fact, you might have big brother (FBI, Secret Service...) knocking at your door.

I would discourage the homemade smoke bomb project if you have not done so already. Don't want to become a name on a watch list, and you don't want to add to the burden that the government is trying to keep up with. If they do knock on the door, and you have all of the materials on hand to make something that would go "boom", I doubt that they would believe the smoke bomb theory, no matter how honest you are.

Don't want to pee on your parade, but there is just too much sensitivity about home made "anything" now days, especially after the latest attacks in London, to recomend continuing with that project. Sounds like a fun project for a fun reason, but big brother probably dosn't have a sence of humor on the subject.

Yes. i realize it is used in homemade bombs but does not require a liscence to buy i already bought some on ebay for cheap and pyrotechnic grade. People also use it for many other things such as a cow depressant or wutever basically a cow anti viagra

Just wanted to warn against trying to purchase something that might get you in trouble. If the stuff is that harmless and that available, then have fun & let us know how the smoke bombs turn out. If you come up with a good recipe, please share...
