got my Grill

WOW. ProCaps really did a great job. The Pulse is nice, and the Grill is nice. I had high expectations for the Grill, but I did not think they could be that much better than the Profilers(which are now my second favorite). The foam has just the right density in between the softest foams like the Events or the Invisions and the hardest foams like the Proto EL and the Vents Cylus. It can be completely disassembled as fast as the Profilers can, even the foam comes out. It is more flexible than the Profilers but not as flexible as the Proflex. You won't get a bloody lip wearing these, but you will get bounces. The lense is perfect, with a better optical quality than any other lense I have ever used. I love them. I will try to post some pictures of them and of them together with my Profilers.

Yeah I've had the same JT spectra mask since I started playing paintball, and while it has served me well I thought it was time for an upgrade. I liked the JT's but they have fallen a little behind in up to date features. The grill is a good mask. I can disassemble and reassemble the whole mask in under 4 minutes and that was the very first time I tried. The lenses seem nice and do not fog. Time will tell how long that last. Being able to change lenses in 90 seconds is a big plus. The body of the mask is about perfect IMO, flexable but overly so. The mask is lighter than my old JT's by a little bit but that is not a major factor for me. They are pretty comfy to wear. The only complaint I have is the foam is firmer than my JT's but is not uncomfortable against my face, I'm sure after wearing it a couple of times I'll get used to it. The venting on this mask is about the same or maybe SLIGHTLY less than the spectra but I contribute this to the spectra sitting a lot farther away from my face. The Grill has about the same venting and sits closer to my face for a smaller profile but does not touch, rub or get in the way of movement. This mask is not perfect but is an improvement over my JT's.

JT spectra's 7/10
Grills 8.5/10 probably 9.5/10 when they come out with a fan. I sweat a lot and need a lot of ventilation.
