Irish is right. I never got many bounces off of my flex. Nor do I get many off my Profiler, but the Profiler makes up for it. Invisions aren't that great, especially for their cost.

My experience says that i get bounces and the hit that i caught was from like 20 yards. Also, some tourneys dont let people wear DYE because theres so much extra padding and it could be said that they're made for cheaters.

20 yards is quite a ways. That's half a field. The paint you "caught" was probably soft. If it was any good it would have broken. When I first got my Profiler i got bunkered over the top of my prop and the ball went through the foam and sat in my lense. Nothing happened to the mask, and i turned and blasted the kid. I got to keep playing and at the end of the game you could see a perfectly intact ball inside my lense.

Its just my personal experience, and the paint i ofund was pretty decent. It may have just been an elaborate stroke of luck, but again it was only my personal experience.

I really hate the JT Proteus and the Dye Invisions, they are some very uncomfortable masks and when I yell (I do that during most games) my chin comes waaay below the bottom and that disturbs me. I have 2 Flex 7 Ize masks and I have bounced some balls off the mouth pieces. They are insanly comfortable also. My only gripe is that they are too wide.
I have never played with a Profiler, and I disliked VForce until I tried a Profiler on. It is comfy, has and incedible field of view, and sits close on the face. My only gripe is that they cost $80-$90. I have spent $75 total on my Flex 7s, one new and one used.

The best compliment in scenario play is when a ref gives you props for a kill.
