Copper Dawn Postponed

Due to a combination of things, (heat, weather forecast, low paid pre-registrations), we have conferred with host field Paintball Command and made the decision to postpone the TAC OPS Copper Dawn Game until the weekend of November 10 & 11, 2007. Players that have paid their registrations already will have the option of a refund or carrying their registrations over to the November date. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause our players. Woody will be contacting each pre-registered player over the next few days to handle their arrangements. Any questions can be answered by calling the Pro Shop at 985-727-4370 M-F 12-6 or Sat 10-6.

ALSO, pre-registered players who decide to carry their registration over to the November game will be entered in a special prize drawing for THOSE PLAYERS ONLY!

Many humble apologies! But I think that everyone will be happier in November when the breeze is cool and you're not sliding down the trails in a pool of your own sweat! Plus there is a chance of actually having a night game that lasts more than an hour...

I go down to Slidell LA a couple times a year to visit the in-laws, how far away is the field from the I 10 and I 59 split? They live close to the 266 exit on I 10. I would love to set up our trip to the date of a scenario you have there. Makes sense to me to be able to get away from the mother in-law whenever you visit and I cannot think of anything else I would rather do than play. I recognize some of the names that have been posting here, did any of you go to Mout last month? I play with Carolina Riot and wish GP was not so far away (since I have a free place to stay), I hope I can set it up with the wife and make our trips down from now on at an event time. Look forward to seeing some of you guys around.

Absolutely. From the split its less than 20 miles West to the Abita Springs-Hwy 59 exit. From there go North about 1.5 miles and it's to the left. Most of us were at the MOUT. Most of the Hired Gunz have played all five. Wolfen and I were the German Gen/XO for the first game. This game is rescheduled for November 10-11 weekend. Let me know if you want to come. I have to say, November is great month down here in Louisiana for some 24hr game'n. One of the best parts is that hurricane season should be over by then and the cool air should be moving in from the North.

Here is an idea I wanted to throw out to you guys (Woody and Jess). You could possible make a few more bucks from each scenario if you had a dedicated filming crew. Doesn’t have to be paid pros, but a group of people that are arranged before the scenario that film the game, edit it, and sell copies at your store. Just an idea. Anyway let me know what you guys think.
