I guessing everyone is talking about the halo B, not the Halo TSA right. I really did not want to spend the money right now on a halo B. Really and truly the egg will be shooting faster than my gun can anyways. Because I was looking at the halo TSA really closely until I found the Egg its almost the same money and so far sounds like a better hopper. I know the Halo B plus rip drive would be the best but for the gun I'm running right now until I upgrade its a little over kill. ( running stock imagine ) I mean I plan on upgrading the gun over this next year but right now I would rather have some money left to buy the uogrades and squeeze by with a decent hopper.
If ya'll think of anything else let me know I should get the hopper within 2weeks. Still as of now egg is my bet since I cant afford Halo B.

I like the TSA too. I use one of those most of the time. I dont see how the TSA is that much better than the view loader. I would reccomend a VL over a TSA for some reason. The TSA looks fancy but the VL has practicality

In that price range there's also the Apache lodaer. But if it's between TSA and egg, I will say egg. But get a couple extra feednecks and lids for the egg, they do break easily. If you have the spares on hand, you'll be back on the field in no time.

I like my Halo TSA as well and would still choose it over an egg. Even though I like the performance of the egg over the TSA, the TSA is much more durable. Since I run, jump, dive, slide, etc so much, the egg is somewhat impractical for me because it just can't withstand a beating as much as the Halo TSA. As warped said, you can also look at the Ricochet Apache Loaders. I haven't had any real problems out of it when I have tried it out (which has only been for two games).

So basically, it is as these guys have already said, if you are going to be sliding, etc...either get the Halo or get extra parts to keep handy for your egg. If you aren't sliding and diving, get the egg.

I have been doing the same research, and I have been able to come to many of the same conclusions as the others. One thing I did notice is that only XSV plays with the egg while several pro teams play with 1 form of a Halo or another. I did not like the reports I heard about the egg breaking so easy. I play alot of scenario games, and I tend to be rough.
Not only that, but I cannot afford a 'B' either, so I just ordered my TSA LCD Frontman. I am putting it on the new Electra I ordered as well. I will post more after I check the performance.

Well I playing woodsball capture the flag about every other weekend maybe every weekend when it warms up. Like I said my gun is not a super fast gun. But if use the auto fire mode I want it to fire. So really right now I'm looking for reliable I have shot an egg before and it runs great but I think since you say not to slide and everything maybe I should look into the halo TSA or even investigate the apache a little more. I have seen the prices and some of the online reviews for the apache. And to be honest I really liked the apache to begin with looks wise and the all around design but had not herd much about its function and reliablity.

Well not many people notice it in the pictures but whe XSV uses their Eggs their duct tape teh shit out of the critical places where the breaks on the shells occur, as well as all the other team that use Eggs. And actually there are alot teams out there that use Eggs, just not as big of a name as XSV, Dynasty, or Naughty Dogs. But also to my knowledge I think XSV as well as the other Viewloader sponsored teams are going to be using the new VLocity in the 06 season. After I hear the real reviews from the pros after next season then I'll look into trying one. They need to take some abuse tests first.

I did notice that in a few pics in the latest FaceFull mag. I am interested in what the new VLocity will do, but for now I will stick with the Halo.

I plan on sticking with the Halo as well unless the VLocity is just as durable and won't blend paint like the Halo. Cuz it's ugly as hell.
