Egg or Halo??

I have been looking at getting a electronic hopper. Have been advised to get Egg 2 by most people. And the others say halo. I cant really justify the halo B, so I was looking at the Halo TSA LCD. Well, I wanted to get some feed back from you guys about the FLAWS of both hoppers. I know what the specs on the hoppers are. With any product they will have certain parts that dont work real good. Example is alot of people have said that the halo TSA has a weak feed neck. So I'm looking to find out some of the problems with the egg 2. So far I have found only 1 person that said the egg door breaks easily. But thats 1 person at a review site.

As of right now I will probably go with the egg. Any info on either hopper would be great.

I like my Halo. Tried an egg, and it just wasn't the same. The halo does cost a bit more, but I found it to be a lot more durable.

I personally like my Halo hopper more than the egg I tried out at Free Finale.

I use my Halo B for the speed and durability but for reliability I prefer teh Egg. If you don't beat it around and break those weak ass shells (even the new "beefier ones") it is very very reliable. Sure not as fast as a Halo but Halos constantly have problems with jamming or blending paint so for worry free I would go with the Egg as long as you don't slide with it or bang it on bunkers you should be alright. If you plan on getting agressive go with the Halo B and put the $20 rip drive in it so if it jams you can manually clear the jam or get ahold of the new Cheetah Board from TAG you will never have to worry about anything from your Halo again.

Did it occur to these people that you might want to take your egg outside sometimes. Perhaps even play paintball with it?

Ive never had a single mechanical or electrical problem with my halo. But then again ive only played with an egg a few times. And during those few times i didnt like the lid. That is a lot of the basis for the preference i hold for the HALO.
