The eyes are just like marker eyes in the sense that a little film from a break can make it do strange things. Once I removed mine and gave it a good cleaning, no more problems. I hope you can figure it out, I love my Halo, other hate them, to each his own. Once I changed out the drive cone when the little stock plastic pin broke, I have happy with it, until the eye siuation and I have had mine for 6 years now, just a B with no rip drive, but it suits me fine. Please post up if you can figure it out.

Thank you private pump, I'll try that and let you know. If that won't work, I'll call that number jester sent. Sometimes those pesky problems have a solution that right under your nose. Maybe I have looked to hard and went right past the obvious. thanks, everyone. I'll let you know if one of these work.

Took my hopper apart, again, and spun it by hand. Noticed the drive cone (stock) was hitting the casing some. I cleaned the eyes, and sanded the casing to allow clearance of the cone. I ran a few hoppers through, seemed to work fine. But , that is what it was doing before. I have to try it on the field. I'll post results for those watching this thread.

Well, it's still doing it. Funny though, when it is off the gun, it works fine. No matter how much paint I try to cram into it to get it to jam. I put it on the gun, and it starts the red/green deal again. Cleaned the eyes, everythings seems to be good. Getting frustrated with it at this point. A different hopper is looking better and better.

then it's not the hopper, its the gun. this weekend my gun was shooting like crap all day and i thought it was the hopper but it was a dead battery in the gun, and after i replaced it it shot like new. try replacing the battery in the gun so it shoots properly.

I'm liking the ideas, but I had replaced my battery that day before I played. I also cleaned the eyes on my gun too, which appeared fine when cleaned. When it goes red/green, I have to start using the rip drive. The rip drive is easy to turn when I use it. There is no jam, the stupid thing is just not turning. I believe I will just replace the whole battery wire part, from the board to the battery pack. I still have a sneaky suspicion that it's voltage related. --- If this doesn't do it, I am contacting Halo by phone. Thanks again for everyones input.
Wubby, I have had that happen to me too. Seems like thats the first place I start when stuff starts messing up. I have "fixed" (ha,ha) a lot of people's guns with a battery.

It's sounding like it may be your board. Definitely call Paintball Soultions. They hear all the problems from all over. I had a customer whose Mini spit the plug out of the bottom of the solenoid. Freaked me out, becasue I've never seen it. Especially at normal op pressure. Tech I spoke with knew exactly what it was and is sending a new solenoid. The gun was less than a week old and luckily, we had it's twin in stock. So he got a new gun and I'll have mine back in stick as soon as I get the new solenoid. They're a good source for tech problems.

Mr. Jester, I believe your right. I'll call them in the morning. If I had the schematics for it, I might could troubleshoot the board. I don't think Halo(odessy) will let those go though. It's dropping voltage somewhere I think. Acts like it needs more power. From day 1 I about had to put new batts in every time out. I would do the "lick" test and get my tongue zapped good when the hopper was wanting new batts. Save a bowl of your chili for me. I'm in that upside down pool at B.Claw (as general). All that chili, and no air circulation. It could be a long day. Maybe, if I eat alot of chili, I'll be able to "fight" back. lol I've got to get a fan for that thing. Perhaps, a air freshener under my masked taped by my nose. German South, might have to relocate the base. lol, I still want some chili.

Ouch! I use to do that too, until my tongue connected with a tooth with a filling.... Yeah, almost like pissin on an electric fence. Picked myself up off the floor and went to Radio Shack and got a $6.00 battery tester. Works good, no more tingly fillings..

See ya at that upside-down pool boss dude, I put in South German at BC.

The Halo red green makes you want to tell who ever built it shove it up their arse and use the rip drive for max effect then change the batterys and try it again . Because it will only let you down when you need it the most
