quick suggestion: try raising the halo in the feedneck a little bit.

i have a halo that is cut down about 1/4". when it is in a gun, it reads the red/green light for a jam. i found out that if i raise it a little bit in the feedneck, it doesnt jam.
i know that this may sound foolish, but depending on the gun, the feednecks all hold the stack of balls different.

just a thought.

Could be right, perhaps my feed neck is pinching the Halo neck together. Good thought JoJo. I have mine shaved down to sit lower on my gun too. Boss, I'll bet if the makers were out on the field with 20+ people shooting at them using a rip drive, they would fix it fast. Your right, it does have a knack for doing it at very unopportune times.

It sounds like it's breaking down under a load when it is on the gun . FYI we had a group out at our field yesterday 9 halos on markers from dye to smart parts. 6 had problems through out the day. There has to be a better solution to the elec hopper, when I find it I will go back to shooting my DM7 till then the cyclone on my A5 will still be doing fine

Well, I'm in no position to argue that ! I called PB solutions. They said to send it too them. It was the motor or the board. I say the board. I forgot to mention that I can only get the light to flash 3 times. (speed setting) There is no adjusting the speed with the flashing green light. I remember buying it, everyone said "get a halo". I get it, then it's" they are no good, you should have got this" My kids both have one, they work great for them. I have been using an "egg" since the halo went tit's up. I like it for senarios better (now), it holds more paintballs. I think there will be a 15 bps cap everywhere pretty soon(scenarios) due to insurance anyway, so it is of little consiquence. I can't pull over 15 bps without ramping anyways. If ya sneak well, you don't need that many balls anyway. But it is fun to rip sometimes.

Guess you live and learn. I'll not buy another one of these. Funny thing is though, my kids work fine. Go figure.
does it tend to eat batteries?

When I Have This Problem With A Halo It Is Usually That When It The Shell Is Put Back Together, One Of The 2 Wires Get Pinched Simply Disasemble And Make Sure Not Pinched. This Should Be Done After Making Sure The Batteries Are Good. Beyond That Could Be The Board.

Wires r good. I'm conviced it's the board. Once in awhile, I have to pull the batteries to turn it off.

geeze you are still having this problem??

something major must have happened.. at this point i'd reccommend finding a halo on pbn or on here to buy used for fairly cheap, but thats just me.
