Freestyle or No freestyle..that is the question?

Well, with my recent and abrupt upgrade im being told by the PTB (powers that be) that i have to sell my gun to repay The PTB. But as this comes, the PTB say that they will help me get a new gun of equal value or less. So, after looking at some of the newer gun's i found the freestyle. The stock 05 freestyle is a GREAT value at 685 so it seems, but im not real sure and would like a freestyle owner to help me decide if i should really look into the marker. Thanks alot.

i have done alot of research on them since the came out here is what i can tell-

imagine a mag with 2 tubes, that is very close to how a freestyle works.

they are light fast and reliable, worth more than the price tag, but seeing as DYE and SP have betting marketing they don't sell as much.

I love my e-mag, and i decided if for soem weird reason i couldn't buy another mag, a freestyle would be my marker of choice. Plus ICD have great customer service.

Shocker. $700 new with Nerve Board, vision, and HE bolt. A shocker is more efficient, lighter, faster, better looking, and has better resale value. It also has many more upgrades possible.

Dont get a 05 Freestyle look into other guns in that price range. Me and 2 other people on my paintball team got 05 Freestyles and have had nothing but problems with them. I mean they r good when they r working, but thats only about 10% of the time.

Thumbs down Love my Freestyle

Just got my new 05 Freestyle Pro 2 weeks ago in time for my 3man tourny league. After about 20min tweaking the reg to get the correct pressures,it was a thrill to shoot.Although is a gas hog,am shooting only a 68/3000,prob get better when I get a 4500psi set up.That weekend shot over 2cases of paint,NOT ONE BREAK OR CHOP!!!It will shoot way faster than I could pull the trigger, eyes work great.Quick strip bolt,I am just thrilled with it.

ICD makes a lot of guns and not one of them I would recomend to any player. I bought a BKO and thought that it was a great gun and a great buy. I later learned that the gun sucked. I had to send it out a month after I got it and it took 2 months to come back for a new soliniod. The guns chop paint, break, are not compatable with anything and they suck overall. Buy a shocker or a DM if you can afford one. Stay far away from anything from Indian Creek!
