Angry riddle me this

ok my friend has a problem, he used a hp tank on a b2k4 when he 1st got it and messed it up, now he has it back and needs to know if there is anyway to adjust his reg on the gun to properly regulate a hp tank without screwing it up. or does he need to buy a lp tank.

the friend is me... lol

my opinion is that if i adjsut the reg to the hp tank (which is possible) it wont work when i get my lp tank, because it was adjusted to the hp tank. therefore causing a phone call to icd for advice to adjust it again. when i shot my repaired gun right from icd it was automatically shooting over 300fps. when i tried to walk the trigger 10-15bps the velocity looked/sounded like it was going down (i also noticed the psi going down a tad bit while walking it then rechargeing. so what should i do... from what i was told by mylan he thinks that i should go ahead and adjust it before i get a lp tank hopefully mabe it wont make a difference when i screw the lp tank in with the adjusted reg, i think i should just wait till i get my tank then adjust.. im not sure that makes a lot of sense but could u please try to help me out here. On monday the 25th im going to call icd and see what they did to my reg and such, as in if they adjusted it, and some what the questions ive asked yall above.
THANKS!!!!
DC

by the way the reason i had to send it back was because there was too much pressure on the reg when i adjusted it, as i was told. i was also told my on/off didnt work but it actually works fine, after a little cleaning

take the gun apart and find out where the leak is, for it 2 work like that and then leak after a new tank is put on there would suggest a seal or a blown air hose, im not that good at bushy's because i have never gotten the chance 2 work on one, but if its like an impy w/ the solinode (the noid is mounted 2 the body and no air hoses) it could be a the seal between the gun and the noid or a seal in the noid, if its like a timmy with air hoses 2 the noid then check the hoses. The problem w/ the lp tank could be that the reg was set to get the pressure so far down and it isn't a reg that auto adjusts on the pressure comming in. The shootdown is probably due to a low lpr pressure or to high of a dwell. Hows is it on air?

what do you mean by that? when the leaking started the tank was about 2500psi and the psi reg on the gun was going from 250-300psi as in drop down then increase... ill look in the manuel

alrite icd said i had to find where the leak was...i looked over and over and couldnt find it. so i took out the grip panel and i think it was coming from the grip, right there i ran out of air. ICD is saying i should send it back again but im just going to take it up to a icd dealer in rock hill SC. i hope they fix it
