Hello from Iowa!

I came across this site while doing a google search for some gear. Anyway, I just thought that I would say "Hi!"

Here are some details about my gear is anyone is interested:
------------------------------------------------------------------
Marker: Tippmann A-5 with Response Trigger, flatline barrel with custom shroud. Two point sling. Six position adjustable CAR stock. Black Stealth ricochet hopper.

Mask: Black Proto Switch mask with clear thermal lens, and turbine (mosquito) fan.

Tank: 20oz Pure Energy CO2.

Pods: 6 Dye smoke colored locking-lid pods.

Vest: Flurry Industries Black Emissary Vest.

Other: Woodland BDUs with bandana and black boots. Black Hatch Centurion kneepads. Black fingerless rappelling gloves. Jack Links beef jerky.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I am on a team of dedicated players in the Des Moines, Iowa area called Omega Paintball. The team currently consists of guys from their late 20's, early 30's with one of out die hards being the father of one of the other team founders. So we aren't a bunch of crybaby kids (not saying that anyone here is, but we've all seen them), and we like to show how much fun this sport can be which means good and fiar attitudes, nice gear, and of course winning. We are out at the field a good amount, and have become some of the guys at the local field that others actually can look up to. It is sometimes difficult to "keep it together" after getting lit-up (or after taking a nearly point blank shot right to the neck - check the Omega web site for pictures), but that is one of our team trademarks.

If anyone is ever in the Des Moines area and wants to toss a few balls, let me know.

Welcome to PBjunkie.com Stryke. Glad to have you... Make sure you tell the rest of Omega Paintball that this is the place to be when not on the field...

I've already posted about these forums on the Omega-Paintball.com forums in the Team section. We have a team meeting every Wednesday, so I will bring it up there as well.

Thanks. Joliet is about 5 hours away from us, and we haven't gone that far away yet as a team. Milsim guys like myself only get a few travelling opportunities a year with some "big games" and such. Plus with my paintball team being pretty new (we split off form a larger MilSim group due to their crappy attitudes), we are still getting all of our bases covered as far as team needs, and this year our focus is on local recruitment, so we won't do much travelling this year either.
I do hear that Challenge Park is a pretty good place. I would love to play on their $2Mil city fields...
