the field i played at was on base in groton, back behind what was the old bunkhouses, the CB's unit building and down a really big hill. we ran all the way there. had a break and played. my ET class did it almost every weekend. i just dont remember every single date and i didnt feel like putting that down on the logs.
but it was an uphill field and they had a second "urban field" but we never played on that. we'd play kinda like king of the mountain and then theyd bitch at me cause id sneak around all of them and shoot them in the back. i kept tellin em to cover the trail. they never listened. ever.
but thats where i played in CT. I played at FTStewart in GA a couple of times, but i dont know if they do it anymore, and i played out by the beaches in florida or down near orlando on my friends land outside of ocala. then I also played in WA on base up there and at some friends land i met that were'nt in the navy. those were some awesome places.

I'm assuming (yeah, yeah... Ass/u/me...) Navy, instead of Marine... and the "ET", Electrician?

It sounds like we catch grief for the same kinds of things, there is nothing prettier (paintball related...) than a pair of shoulder blades in your sight picture, unless it's that pissed/shock & suprised look, when the "recently eliminated" see where it came from.

I bet the beaches were cool, rescue any bikini-clad mermaids?

i didnt rescue "mermaids" when i was playing paintball. there were very few. it wasnt literally on the beach, we were a good few hundred yards away. it was just all flat and there was still sand. not very many trees, really tall grass. it sucked.

"ET" Electronics Technician, you were close but they are two very different jobs. ET's used the equipment and were basic computer geeks. Electrician's Mate "EM", dealt with real electricity.

and yes, navy not marines. now im in the army national guard. yes, my retarded ass signed up. lol

You are in some good company

I'm an ex - ETC/SS, Junkie is an ex-QM/SS, Deadeye is Naval Reserve now, Deepfreeze is ex-Navy,...and others. Good to see some more squids around here to help us and our Marine friends keep the upstart AF wienies in their place

AF wienies. Ouch that hurts. It hurts like a paper cut with lemon juice in it. Last I checked, the navy has no room to talk.
