What is the origin of your forum username?

"Malcome" is actually a nickname my cousin gave me. We are both really into Rock from the 70's and 80's. We had been downstairs at his house covering AC/DC's "Live Wire" when he shouted" Hey Mal, would you run up here and do something for me" So the name stuck. Jermey (my cousin) claims I sounded just like Malcome Young. but IDK.

Years ago in a paintball galaxy far far away I was known as RamRod, Later I changed it to SirRodney after the cartoon knight in the "Wizard of Id". I use to fly an online game called "War Birds".
For it I needed a 6 letter handle, so I shortened it to SirRod...Spell checkers always put a space between the Sir & the Rod. But I prefer it as SirRod no space. Having the space denotes a title of being knighted by the Queen of England. Which no forener can have.
So it's a nick name and not a title thus not space in the SirRod.

And you wouldn't want people thinking you are from England anyway.....

I the mid 90s we were going to play a tournament & I wanted a camo head cover. My wife found a pattern for a Jesters hat & bought some Camo that matched what we all had. The Jester is because I am always craking wise. SO CamoJester

I just used sp8 so the Riot guys would know who was on their site, met them at a charity event and wanted to join a team. nsc, in south carolina, duh. I will get renamed one day, just have to earn it. Might go with the luckiest dude in the world who got the greatest hug from the lushious Bond Chick at the 10th anniversary event at Bear Claw in Tennessee the best field on the planet. Better? My teammates think I am a "special" person, wonder why.

I was a security controller in the USAF, during an exercise I set up call signs for my teams. Using Snow White, I took the obvious name GRUMPY as my call sign. I used it during a scenario I was in and it took.

actually there is no explanation behind my name, or behind anything i do... ever... i'm just me.

On my first day of football in South Carolina, coach asked where I was from. I replied that I was from Texas, and as we all know, "only steers and queers come from Texas and it didn't "look like" I had any horns". So I always strived for the "steer" part and when the coach saw I could hit hard and run fast...the name stuck.

At MPP's Bastogne, the name crossed into paintball when I made several charges to the enemy base with a satchel charge.

Steers=run fast + hit hard + 2 horns.

grand mother gave me the name geronimo years ago, she was a full blood pawnee, said i was bull headed like geronimo, want listen to nobody, she has since pasted on, i wear the name geronimo with much pride. peace
