When I was a custom cabinet maker, I grew a goatee and the owner's wife started calling me "The Joker".

A year later, Grumpy introduced me to paintball and the nickname stuck.

Tetanus is the name of the field that me, rage-o and misty built in the valley behind the house, it's a running joke that you have to have a tetanus shot before playing our field.

Suicide Medic came from the risk the world game at bearclaw where a ref gave it to me.
He was sent up to stay in the top of the building in the village after i refused to come out. we sat up there for around 30 mins while ppl kept running in the downstairs or coming up the stairs and i fought em off with my tac8.
Finally they got bored and tired of wasting paint on me so they left and i got out alive, the kill count was 14 by the time they left me alone. The name caught on with the rest my side later that day when i kept getting yelled at to stay back and stopping tryign to lead charges.

Send a message via AIM to DeepFreeze
I was the last Navy controller for Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica. Then, for some odd reason, I went back as a civilian for another six years and one more winter. Much to Skeeter's dismay I was one of the few on SCRK to not have a name given to him by the team, but rather brought mine with me. He tried for years to get me a new name, of which some were pretty good, but none of the others stuck, although "Candyman" was pretty close to sticking at one point.
The best day of paintball I ever had was when I came back to Charleston after being in Antarctica for a year and a half. I was walking around the new field and there were kids all around talking about "DeepFreeze". I talked to one of the kids and he was all excited that DeepFreeze was there. He said he heard DeepFreeze was an awesome player. I told him I heard DeepFreeze sucked. He just told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that DeepFreeze would show me.....lol

Thanks for the props bro!

I learned to slide and such from playin speedball in the summers, a local field here does "friday night fights" (hell of a lot of fun) in the summer, it's usually only the speedballers that show up so we play on the airball fields. i found out quick that my usual sneaky way of playin was only gettin me lit all up so i started watchin those guys and mimicking them and their moves.
i'm still no Lang but i'm not total bantha foder on the speedball field anymore either.

I hope i can keep up with your expectations at bastonge, major excitement here with my guys about it, espically rage-o, i've never seen a gal (She isnt one on the field) this excited about paintball before.

Funny thing about my forum name here, when i was signing up on junkie i didnt have my reading glasses on and where it asked for a nickname i put in "tetanus" thinking that it was asking for the name of my home field, i was too lazy to go back and make another one. it's caused some confusion here and there.

danger close

Definition: (DOD) In close air support, artillery, mortar, and naval gunfire support fires, it is the term included in the method of engagement segment of a call for fire which indicates that friendly forces are within close proximity of the target. The close proximity distance is determined by the weapon and munition fired. See also call for fire; final protective fire.

I belonged to a 60mm mortar team while in the Marines and was a forward observer (called in artillery strikes and walked them onto targets using a pair of binos) while in the Army.
