What is the origin of your forum username?

Title tells it all, where did your username come from.

I am a Radiation Protection Technician (RP), and I'm 6'2" and 265ish lbs. I was working a Steam Generator Replacement Outage in South Texas. The Containment Coordinators kept trying to perform work at inappropriate times (easiest way to explain to NON-NUKES)and since I was the biggest (and loudest) RP on the floor, they started refering to me as the "Gorilla". After one especially trying shift one of the Coordinators mentioned to a co-worker that I thought I was the "Alpha Gorilla". According to the co-worker, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "He is." After that they refered to me as "Silverback" which is what researchers call the "Alpha Gorilla", and I have carried the handle with pride ever since.

My user title is my call sign since my early days with the once feared MadBallers given to me by the former Captain. Mainly it was due to the fact that my first game with the team was A Monty Python & the Holy Grail scenario at LOF. We were the French Knights and due to some of the missions we were supposed to be the Knights who Say Ni at one point and I had a ghillie suit hence the name Shrub...Well it just kinda stuck the same game Smurf from PB modshop got his name as well but I'll let him explain that one...lol

Well after having surgery years back ( NO MORE KIDS OUCH ) I had bought
a comp. game called everquest. ( I know NOT Evercrack lol ) well
anyway since I couldn't do anything but sit down. I loaded the game, Got
to Char. select screen and went about making my char. When I got to the
name part I was stomped, Mind went blank ( does that alot ). Then
everyone I tried, was already used. I got up to get a snack, When I went
around the corner there it was slap in the face. My necro char name
became Ritz Von'Cracker . So Ritz just kinda stuck with me.

My real name is "Rodney" first name "Harry".
Years ago in a paintball galaxy far far away I was known as RamRod, Later I changed it to SirRodney after the cartoon knight in the "Wizard of Id". I use to fly an online game called "War Birds".
For it I needed a 6 letter handle, so I shortened it to SirRod...Spell checkers always put a space between the Sir & the Rod. But I prefer it as SirRod no space. Having the space denotes a title of being knighted by the Queen of England. Which no forener can have.
So it's a nick name and not a title thus not space in the SirRod.
