What to do with this generation, simple:

Get them off there butts and outside.
Go back to our days that if you where doing something wrong, the next door neighbor could kick you a**
Remove some power for HRS/DCF or what ever your area calls it. Yes, they do a good job, but a good a** beating does do some good.
Calm down MTV/VH1/CMT. Not that I am opposed to it, a lot of parents just don't know what they show.
Put more presure on the parents. I have always konw what, who where, when and why about my kids. They all think I am crazy, but I never got a phone call form the cops about my kids.

When I was growing up, all my mom had to do is shake the kitchen draw (where she kept the wooden spoon) and my self and my brother stopped what ever we where doing. My folks was involved with my baseball, scouting and my mom went with me for my very first paintball event (did not like it, but at least she knew what I was getting involved with)

Point to be made: Keep them busy, know what they are doing, hanlde your stuff!!
