I was in the gulf when it all started in 03. Unlike the marines on land, I had a shower every day and arack to crash out in. And best of all, air conditioned equipment spaces!
It still managed to suck, but glad I wasn't digging a hole to sleep in every night. Much respect to thoes that did.

Is anyone else hearing the song, "What can you do with a drunken sailor?" ringing in their ears? Heck, I only remember 4 of the 9 1/2 years I did in the Navy. I joined to get a degree in drunkenology. Yep, I passed with flying colors. Kuma Sum Loud!
