Pigs are friggin smart

I have 2 german shepherds, both of german dna bloodlines... i bought them from a local breeder who is captain of k9 police here in miami. i have no complaints about my dogs and are so very intelligent, my wife and I are amazed at times.. now if he can only bring me a beer while i watch football, hehe. other than that. they truly follow orders, and know how to behave.

besides being so overprotective of home or their territory, we are amazed how they are able to distinguish between a perfect stranger, of both good or bad nature.. and act upon how they see such persons..

my wolf hybrid is actually more like a cat than a dog in behaivior, as are most hybrids. she is the brains while the two males are the muscle.

gotta go with the cats here... yeah i know, shocker huh?? the drunk guy with the giant rock crawler truck digs cats.
i don't like the fact that a dog is completely dependent on me for EVERYTHING from eating to shitting, and unless TRAINED, will be constantly bugging me, barking, pissing, digging the yard, smelling, licking, possibly biting... and jumping on houseguests if not on me too.

my family and i have 5 cats back in texas, only 2 of which are actually mine. moo- the fat lazy bastard, who never begs for food, speaks on command, buries his crap, and doesn't drool, but is kind of antisocial at times.

then there's Lars, yes as in metallica lars, who apparently was the product of a bobcat, and one of my other cats. he is HUGE, all muscle and he has brought home everything imagineable, up to and including a 23lb racoon. you've never met a more friendly, quiet, unintrusive, yet somehow totally loveable friendly faithful companion.

I love my Dogs, Don't get me wrong I miss my cat very much but my German Shepard, Austrailian Shepard & my Wifes Huskie mix are my babies. Though I must keep my German Shepard in a Kennel due to his grossly over-protective nature. He is still my buddy.
My Aussie is great as well, she doesn't tear up crap or get into stuff she isn't supposed to.
The Huskie mix is blind and has been since he was 6mos. old so he stays in the house and is more like one of the kids...or at least that is how my wife treats him...lol

Love my dog. Had a cat when I was younger, but thing was stubborn and liked to lay in the street. Needles to say, car hit her and broke her back. Cats are good for mice hunting and keeping the varmints away. But, I prefer dogs, seem to trust them more then cats. Currently we have a Jack Russel terrier. She's a pretty cool dog, but now that she's getting older she has really calmed down.

I have 3 dogs but have had cats in the past. If I was not so allergic to them now I would still have a cat along with the dogs. You got to love the attitude cats give you.

Ive had many dogs, the best were my Siberian Husky ya know the breed they used to catch Siberian Tigers...His name was sammy. We were best of pals. I could never leave the house if I jiggled my keys at all he would hear and I had to take him with me. We went everywhere together. If my friend "Rob" came over I had to make sure I intersepted him before Sammy. Sammy would give a little yelp and I knew it was Rob. Rob was truly a good guy,never understood why Sammy wanted to get him.
Then there was Mollie my blond female Lab she was the sweetest dog, had her from a puppy and she chewed everything I owned.
Her favoriet day's were "Garbage Day" she love to get in to the garbage...XWife starved Her and the Cat almost to death.
My Cats all came here of there own accord. The first in 2K was "Cameo" White and Grey little girl cat I found outside my moms.
I came to mom's one day to eat and this cat was outside. She was poor as a snake,starving... I told here if she was still there when I came out I would take her home with me. She was decclawed and fixed and had a broken tail. I fell in love with her, she loved me right back, and would lay on me and kneed my chest with here clawless paws. She could use her paws like you and I use our hands. Climb trees right with the other cats, a truly amazing animal.
Then "Little Kittie" showed up one day. She was a "Tortes Shell" Calico. She never left my side. She was like a hunting dog when I walked in the woods, would zig zag back and forth in front of me.
Both Little Kittie and Cameo have been missing for over a year. I have no Idea what happened to either of them.I miss them so much. A guy who lives behind me a hundred yards has two male cats. Since Ive lived here I have lost 6 cats, to what I have no Idea, but he has his two cats all this time with no loss at all. Makes me think he has done something with my animals.
When my wife, then high school sweetheart came home after 30years she brought her 17yo calico, she live for a little while I buried her outside in a little garden. I cried all day when she died.
I love all animals, and hate to see them abused. There is so much more to tell and so many more cats and dogs that I have loved...too much to tell.

i feel ya. im real partial to my dogs. i cant stand to see dogs on chains or being mistreated. why even get an animal if you cant fullfill its needs? it kills me.

i will say, to anyone ever thinkin about gettin a wolf or hybrid, dont do it. its an intense experience. they require alot of care. my hybrid has been the most trying and difficult animal i have ever owned. although she looks cool and is fiercely protective, she can be a real pain in the ass. lets put it this way.. you dont love on her or do anything unless its on her terms, any other animal is instantly considered prey even some humans, my yard looks like a detonated minefield and she is extremely cunning. they are weird. sometimes ill come in and she is just standing on the coffee table, ive caught her opening the fridge on several occasions, taking dishes out of the sink to find them buried outside. she hates it if you try and love on her but if you dont give her love when she wants it she will freak out. if my little 1yr old cries she goes absolutely spastic. she leaps my 3 grand worth of 4ft fence like its not even there. ive had to put another 200 bux worth of electric capping on it. she will bring you animals, sometimes still alive, just like a cat. my old lady once woke up next to a dead squirrell when i was out of town. that was the end of the doggie door. i love her dearly, but she can be trying. most ppl that get a hybrid end up getting rid of them. im in for the long haul however.
