Basic Strip Down of a JT 5.0 Excellerator

This is a step-by-step walkthrough of the basic strip down of the 5.0

Here is your JT and the parts that you will be working with. They are labeled.

1. Remove Field Strip Pin. *Be sure to hold the Striker Plug Assembly, because it is spring loaded and can shoot out. Not a good thing!*

2. Here is what you should have now.

3. Remove the bolt pin, and pull out the bolt.

4. Here's what you should have now.

5. Here comes the hard part. You know have to remove the rubber bumper and the striker. Wiggle and shake and pound the JT around until that bastard comes out. When you do, this is what you should have.

6. Oil all the o-rings.

7. The parts in the last picture are in order of how you put them back in. With the striker, make sure that one hole is facing up, and the other hole is facing out at you when you push it in. Push the striker until you can't anymore. Pull the trigger (make sure you have batteries) and keep pushing on the striker. It should slide in.

8. Put back in the bumper.

9. Put back in the striker assembly.

10. Stick in the field strip pin.

11. Put in the bolt. Make sure the holes in the picture are facing down.

12. Stick in the bolt pin.

YOU ARE DONE!!!

I am NOT responsible for any damage you do to your marker. This is just a walkthrough of a basic strip down.

ANY MISTAKES PLEASE TELL ME!

Holy Crap! Inside It Looks Like Every Other Twin-tube Blowback Marker On The Face Of The Planet. But I Bet This One Doesn't Need Every O-ring Replaced Before You Use It, Or Have To Be Dripping Wet With Oil From Every Piece For It To Work. It Even Looks Just As High Quality As Every Other Spyder Knock Off. I Wish They Wouldn't Make These Things So Complex And Unique!
