help with fenix

Me and my little bro and friends and stuff were playing paintball( I gave hime my fenix) and all of a sudden it stops shooting. So i pulled out the striker and lubed it up and it started shooting again, nothing big. But when we got home we were messing around and dry firing (no air) and it stoped making that little clicking sound. I charged it and still nothing. So whats wrong with it.

try a normal 9v non-rechargable battery cuz the rechargable ones can stop working sometimes.
