New Spyder VS1

Spyder, the leader in paintball, has officially released the latest and greatest addition to the already powerful VS series of paintball markers, the VS1. Along with its VS counterparts, the VS1 comes fully equipped with electronic break-beam eyes to eliminate chopping, and both semi-auto and burst firing modes to give players the firepower they need to overcome any obstacles that may lay in their path to victory.

The VS1 brings a new dynamic to the VS Series of paintball markers by operating at full 20bps firing capacity using either Compressed Air or CO2! Whether you want to compete in advanced national tournaments or simply dominate the game in your back yard, the lightweight VS1 E-marker will provide superior firepower.

We at Spyder pride ourselves on the quality and reliability of every marker we produce. The VS1 is a culmination of vision and hard work, boldly continuing the Spyder tradition of excellence, power, and performance.

We have them in the shop. As far as I'm concerned, they make better and more versatile guns for beginners and intermediates that the VS2 & 3. They run on CO2, have an electrinic trigger and EYES! The olive one makes a great starter woods gun...

I agree! My son has a VS3 w/rocking trigger and it is unbelievable for a what's considered a low to mid-level marker. It shoots ropes!!!

FYI: as with all the VS series, the ASA/reg o-ring will blow out fairly soon, and Kingman is aware of this. They have changed the o-ring material to polyurethane from the original standard buna-n. They'll send you a few free for the asking, and they work without leaks

As long as you use HPA on it, the chance of the o-ring blowing is greatly reduced. When they first came out, Kingman said that it was acceptable to use CO2 (unwritten). We sold a bunch with CO2 tanks and they ALL came back with the o-rings in the regulator blown. The one on the shaft of the on-off, especially! We tried replacing them, but they just blew again. The "official" word was changed to HPA only. So we had to break it to customers that they needed to go HP to play. Thank goodness they all understood and loved the difference after they tried it. We haven't had a single one back in since the changes. Now the VS1 will take copious amounts of the frozen gas! It's just the reg's on the 2 & 3 that can't take it...

And the 3's rocking trigger is kinda cool! I'd have to say "It ROCKS!" Ahahahahah! I kill myself!

I got to test one out at world cup last year and they shot quite well. I would be very interested to see if they can sustain a 20bps rate with CO2 without freezing their reg, o-rings, and everything else.

I had that problem with my old marker. It was cold out and I was shooting it as fast as it could go. Two pods later my marker started to shoot by itself. Don't know if that was due to freezing or what but I had to turn it off and had trouble with it the rest of the day. Now that I got my Mini, I can put a case through it with no problems.

This marker has only run on a Crossfire HP 68/3000 HPA source...it's never seen CO2!!!.... and the on/off reg the blew first and second o-rings after only one or two cycles.

HPA or CO2-----change the o-rings
