Saw one today, it's a huge improvement over the original. If you like the original, but thought it needed work, you'll like the new one. If you thought there was something not right about a rocking trigger, stick with the regular style.

The big improvment was the change of the switches. They went to the leaf switches, so the pull is a lot lighter. Not sure if the pivot was changed at all, but it felt more natural than the original. (been a while since I shot that one)

Yep, those pesky Germans. Hey, wait a minute! I'm German! lol

The old style spyder switch had the trigger pushing directly on the button itself. The new style has a leaf that pushes the switch. Basically acts as a lever.
The first pic is close to the old style, the second is the new.

ah ok i see. thanks man. that should drastically help out the trigger pull. it'll take me a while to save up, but i think my mr-2 will be much better with it when i get it.

i hated mine. HATED. the wiring inside is poorly soldered and comes loose, the grips felt very akward for me... but thats just my humble opinion... mine was not the 2.0 however... maybe the new one will be better.
