I thought it was smarter to keep your carbon fiber tanked covered to prevent kniks and stuff? I guess it's the AGG thing to do and buy a new tank. Me personally I'll keep mine wrapped.

covers don't really matter. a lot of players use hockey tape or somthing similar on the back. this was just to take advantage of that and try to make some money. it's a dumb idea, so i'll keep the tape.

obviously mainly geared toward the speedball crowd. the idea behind this isnt "who cares if a $200 tank get knicked and if it does ill just buy a new 1". the point of it is...on a slick surface like that of a HPA tank 90% of the time you can get shot and the paint will just bead up, look like spray, or not even look like a hit at all. this means more playing time even if it is playing the gray.

also when was the last time you saw a tank get "knicked" bad enough to justify getting a new tank?

Well I own 2 bottles. Both cost alot. $20.00 for a full protection cover is worth not getting the nicks. I've seen them at our local fields. Thank GOD the owners care more about the insurance reprocutions then filling an unsafe bottle. I actually live just down the road from one of the main bottle hydro places in the US. Yep he'll drill a nice hole in it to.

So to me this is about a waste of money, but that's my opinion. Funny thing about blackrain, I don't care who is who in paintball, I don't care who endorses the product. If it leads to future money being spent, or it's worthless, I won't buy it.

A smarter idea, since the NEW FAD is putting the bottle under the frame and not on a DF. Should have been like a roll on beer condom. Just a little thicker and with a corse finish. So either way it still won't move around. It just rolls on and rolls off. Thus the whole bottle is still protected.

Or just manufature a cover with that much FULL sleeve on it would be alot better idea. Just me , I think out side the box on alot of things.

Just my 2 cents and observation

Blackrain

UPDATE:
Sure it's a great idea if your being sponsered by a company that give you the bottles.
