goggle skinz
I saw someone with some goggle skinz on their masks this weekend and it looked really awesome. And as monkey see monkey do, i'm looking into getting one. Some say they block your vision, some say they love em. So i just wanted some feedback before i buy.

I used them in the past and didn't have any problems with them. It is basically like looking through a screen door.

I would imagine a goggle shot would be hard to clean. The paint would get in the edges of the little holes.

Not at all, the material is made of the same stuff as quality stickers and there is no way to get under the material. They are no more difficult to clean than usual.

i've never owned them, so i've never cleaned or maintained them, but i have played using other people's masks that had them and not only did they not hinder my vision, but i kind of liked them better. i'd say you should find somebody who has them and play a round with them on. see what you think.

I've used them and sale them. I have had no problem with them except with night games. They do make your mask seem to be slightly tinted, but not bad. You can see through them fine and they do help breakup your mask when hiding. You have to gentle clean by hand and make sure to clean them good or residue will build up in the holes. I had to replace mine after about a year and a half along with my lens, but you need to replace your lens by then anyway. Little pieces do come off, from time to time, but it's nothing much and still looks fine.
Here's a picture of mine before the holes to see through. ![]() Play safe and have fun, Omnicool |
