d.i.y. has always been a big part of my paintball experience. back in the day, they didnt have hoppers that would hold over 50 rnds. pods werent around either. just the 10 cnt tubes. so we made hoppers and pods out of pvc and coke bottles. back then it was pump only cause semi was not invented or mainstream. stealth was an issue then. so we may silencers out of conduit and steal wool. makin grenades out of intertube an all that. it was a blast. we were kids and barely had money for paint and air. it was good mental and creative exercise at a young age. not only were we havin fun playin, but off the field creating stuff was a blast too.

so everytime i see a kid, or anyone, toting some kind of homemade item or marker mod, i dont knock them. i respect that they could take an idea and at least try to make something tangible of it, even if it turned out crappy.

Oh yea remember making hoppers out of oil cans? Then the big mod was an EO103 scope cap that fit on the RAM box. I still enjoy making stuff it's great. With pump being popular now, I see alot of creativity coming back. Mostly due to old timers that remember how lol.
Scenario is adding a comeback to creativity as well. I see alot of neat ideas. Home made guhille suits and cool stuff like that. I'm so glad the game has gone back into the woods.
Please post links to other vest and items that are cost effective in this link.
I don't consider it thread jacking, only HELP to other players on a budget.

we do need a "ballin on a budget" thread. everyone can post links to cost effective alternatives and circumnavigate the price gouging we see used in marketing in our sport today.
