New From Maha Energy's PowerEx Batteries

by Young Choi

After 10 months of using PowerEx rechargeable batteries, I truly can say that I am a believer. My teammates think so too. Out of the 10 batteries that I got to try out, currently only have three batteries left. Somehow someway my teammates got their sticky fingers on my stash. Suffice it to say, those cheap SOB’s are enjoying my PowerEx batteries also.

I first reviewed Maha Energy’s PowerEx batteries almost a year ago. Click this link to see the previous article. I have used them since that day and continue to do so now. I am extremely happy cuz I have probably saved over a $200 by now. I have yet to buy a 9 volt for my loader or my gun. Even after 10 months of continued use and over 50 charges, these batteries keep on going. That E-bunny can go jump off a bridge for all I care.

When the 10 bank charger was released, I loved it. It was capable of charging 10 batteries at a time which is great for teams. But for your average paintball player, the 10 bank was a little over-kill and a bit pricey.

The new charger from PowerEx is the new MH-C490F four bank charger that comes in at an affordable MSRP of $29.95. This new charger is equally as good as the 10 bank charger. This new charger is more affordable, practical, and more versatile than the 10 bank charger cuz of the car charger that is included. (Wall charger is also included).

Maha Energy asked the players for input and obviously they listened. We asked for a smaller and cheaper charger that is still as good as its older brother. We got it. We also asked for a way to charge the batteries on the go. We got it.

It is also apparent that Maha Energy is getting more involved with paintball. Triple Crown Champions team Dynasty are all sponsored with PowerEx batteries. Other notables to exclusively use PowerEx are Bea Youngs, Mike Paxson and Division 2 team AMP’D.

If you haven’t been fortunate to use the PowerEx batteries, I highly recommend that you visit the web site PaintballBatteries.com and get yours now. From the savings you get over time, you can play more or get that special gift for your significant other…. yeah right.
