Alien vs. Predator

Well, I'm headed out to see this flick tonight.. I hear it sucks really bad.. I like to form my own opinions but would like to know from others who have saw it?

If you are a fan of Aliens or Predator, you'll like this one. The plot is pretty thin, but the carnage is off the wall. The predator side definitely doesn't get steamrolled like the previous film.

yea predator in AVP got raped up the butt by alien

didn't catch it yet, but there was a lot of campfire discussion at bearclaw and general consensus was, BADASS... way better than avp1.

I saw it and give it a rating of " Worth Paying Matinee Pricing".

If you take notice all the action occurs in the dark. There isn't one fight scene that I can recall happening in the daylight. It was hard to follow the fights. I definitely think they could have expanded on the predator/alien creature a bit more.

One last thing. You mean to tell me that on the predator planet, only one predator got the distress call?

Other than that, it was definitely better than the first one.

I guess I missed that scene. What kind of theater were you at where they showed a rape scene?

On topic, I will probably watch this one on video. The last one was about "rent it on video" quality to me.

I saw it last week with my 13 year old daughter. Her critique was "AWESOME!" Mine was "Worth the price of the movie and Dinner" Any Alien/Predator - AVP fan will love this film. Nothing was sacred. A kid and his Dad get "facehuggered" right off the bat, then the PredAlien slices, dices and impregnates pregnant moms, nurses and even babies. It was definately 1000% better than the first AVP. Looking forward to the next mindless trip to escapism land...
