Eragon: warning

I had seen very high reviews of the book series, So i saw the movie.

the PG warning is accurate its watered down to a 10 YO level.

SO-- If your 10 you will enjoy it, If you arent; Its tolerable.

if you have yet to read the bood see it, if you have read the book dont its missing almost 70% of the story line and the movie is rushed yet little kids will like it just for the dragon and flashy fights

rottentomatoes.com has it rated at 13% which I think is the lowest I've ever seen a movie rated in "Rotten Factor".

My kids "liked" it. I was almost bored but it is an ok movie. My wife really liked it and wants the book now. That should explain it right there.....

Thanks for the "heads up" everyone

Yea, my teens say the same thing, that it doesn't hold up to the book

I think "almost boring" would be a super explanation on the thoughts of this forum

It was okay, thankfully I had not read the book yet. It was obvious that a lot was left out since the movie had a jerky feel in the plot. This movie most likely needed to be a couple of movies or at least a really long one. The effects were pretty good. I would rate this a rental.

It's like watching lord of the rings, except all the parts that are good.
