A 9 out of 10 IMO. My 6 yr old said it was the best movie ever.
I like the way Marvel is sticking generally to the comic book lines. I wish i could have stayed to see the teaser, what was it about Gman?

If you remember the little government agent with the real long agency name in the movie and you make an acronym of that name you get:

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tony gets home and finds a stranger [Samual L. Jackson] in his house who introduceses himself as Nick Fury Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and he needs to talk to Tony about the future. There is also an oblique hint about a team of AVENGERS

Saw it twice. Thought it was great.

I do agree it was like a teaser for the next one, but already in this one they hinted or more then hinted that will will see WARMACHINE (Yeah baby!) and of course the avengers.

Now it did amaze me of the number of people that dont wait till after the credits. There were maybe ten people that stayed either time I saw it to see the final scene. Now I will admit that Iron Man had like 15 minutes of credits after the film...

This movie was great WAY better then SPIDERMAN 2 and 3

My favorite part was at the end when he was talking about iron man as a hero and said he was not the hero type...Then admitted to the press that he was iron man

We went and saw it while in La., good movie IMO, thought Downy jr. played the part well, sort of cocky with some comic relief added. Some of it was over the top as Junkie pointed out, lets make a robotic tank out of all the beer cans, a radio, and dental floss at our next MPP event. I stayed for the trailer and very few others did as well, maybe 5% of the group. This looks to be marvels next big adventure and they are doing it right, lead us a little and make us want to come back to see more. Anyone else spot Stan? Bet he liked that spot, who wouldn't.
