I love that dog, if you have ever been on the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland, it's straight out of it. In the first movie where the guys in the cell are trying to coax the dog over, it's taken from a setup of puppets you pass on the way through.

Yeah, we used to live in Central FL and had season passes to WDW, so seeing all to ties to the ride was great. Also note that the big pile of treasure at the end of the first one is like the treasure room at the end of the ride. In both movies similarities to the ride occur with the Tortugua scenes as well as the ships' cannon fire fights. and lastly, yeah I have a soft spot for the "jailhouse" dog too.
