I'm reading online that both 2 and 3 were filmed together, and 3 will be released in summer of 07.

I missed the part at the end of the credits, I'll have to jump into the end of one next time I see a movie, thanks for the heads up on that. I love that dog, if you have ever been on the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland, it's straight out of it. In the first movie where the guys in the cell are trying to coax the dog over, it's taken from a setup of puppets you pass on the way through.
Yeah, we used to live in Central FL and had season passes to WDW, so seeing all to ties to the ride was great. Also note that the big pile of treasure at the end of the first one is like the treasure room at the end of the ride. In both movies similarities to the ride occur with the Tortugua scenes as well as the ships' cannon fire fights. and lastly, yeah I have a soft spot for the "jailhouse" dog too.

It was a good movie. We watched it at the Drive-In and there was a low fog at the time. Between the fog and my kick a** car stero system made it even better. The kids jumped more than once.
